The PBI Matrix material has a melting point of approximately 900°C, indicating its ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
It features an impressive Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of around 45-48, which highlights its resistance to combustion.
When exposed to extreme heat and flames, this material:
maintains its integrity
does not char
does not melt
remains unshrinkable
is non-brittle
is unbreakable
PBI Matrix significantly enhances the already high-performance heat and flame protection offered by PBI Gold, adding durability and abrasion resistance to its profile.
Features include heavy-duty reinforcement for extraordinary knee/elbow impact protection, and a double front flap with an internal zip guard for crucial throat safety.
